Just installed Megan Racing springs
Just got done installing the springs and took it for a good drive to make sure all is together properly. The front drop is really nice, no more wheel gap! The rears didn't drop as much as I was anticipating so the jury is still out on that one. I'm going to let them settle in for a few days and see if anything changes. Just seeing if anyone had similar experiences with their springs and the rear not dropping as low as they thought.
I know, this thread is useless without pics, I will get some tomorrow as its now dark outside! Michael |
Yeah my stechs ride pretty high in the back but look great in the front. I guess the next step is just coilovers
|
most springs re like that i dont really mind coz its not bad at all plus sometimes i have a car full of people so the back works just fine :)

|
Went with sprint springs, love the drop!! No gap all the way around.
|
The rear does seem to be sitting too high. Did you measure before and after?
What are they supposed to drop front and rear? |
^+1 bro the rear is extremely high for aftermarket springs

megans drop 1.75 front and 1.5 rear but my car looks lower in the back than in the front
|
could it be that the op switched fronts and rears thats why his front is so low and rear is high?
|
i dont think so because the springs woundnt fit the other way around on the shocks
|
I think he just installed the fronts and not the backs. Imo.
|
lmao!!!

negative the bottom rungs dont fit around the rear shock because it is wider than the front
and if he did switch the front springs drop more than the rear springs so he would be dropped more in the rear |
I've seen it done before. (I was there when it happened)
front ends up slammed, rear ends up stadium seating style This was with OEM springs |
i dont know maybe with oems but not they just dont fit the weird thing about the megans is that the front spring is actually longer than the rears.... but the just dont fit on the shocks i tried when i put them on
|
Yep the back is def waaayyy to high

looks like it is swapped.
are they even labeled? jack the car up and see if the springs are seated completely. |
mines were not labeled ..
|
Very aggressive front drop. But I too must say that I think you mixed up the fronts and rears.
|
i wish it dropped that much in my front... fu*k
