Just got an rx8!!!!

Hey everyone I just got an rx8 the other day and all I can say is I love this car. Its a metallic blue with typhoon intake, metra kit, and Borla exhaust. I wanted to know would carbon fiber eyelids look at on a a stock metallic blue rx8

If i may suggest something,.... instead of spending money on eyelids, consider spending money on getting rid of that intake.

+1000, better dump that intake. It's been known that it's just about the worst one for this car. I have no direct knowledge of that, but have read a lot.

Asking for opinions are not a very efficient way of getting an answer. Do what you want.

+1 on getting rid of the intake.

You're losing power and hurting the engine.

the first thing you should do would be to learn how to search the forum for the answers you desire

New RX8

Hi everyone:

Well......new rx8 to me, anyway. Just bought a 2005 Jet black RX8 but am finding mixed reviews on winter driving. i live in Vermont and am now worried that I have to go out and buy a beater car for winter. Wasn't my plan...but what does everyone think? Beater car? Or killer winter tires with studs? thanks a bunch:)

SamiRX-8 07-09-2012 09:44 AM

New and good winter tires on all 4 wheels and you're good to go. Studs are also welcome in your trunk, but only keep in mind to drive with winter tires only on winter, as they loose their compound when it gets hotter.

Will do soon!! Just bought it on Friday!!
