Flappy paddles just dont cut it! Sure even a DSG "automatic" can shift at lightning speed, never miss a downshift, always perfectly match revs, but all that stuff is half the fun of driving!!!

So Steverothery, how did you like your 192 hp 8? I'm probably getting one this friday so I would really like to hear your opinions about it. And to all of you who'll say I should get the high-power version, just don't... I would really love to get it but I really just don't have money for it. The price difference in the US may not be much but here in Norway, I can't afford the high power one. I hope the 192 hp won't be that boring compared to the high-power since I'm getting a manual and the 0-100 difference is 'only' 0.8 sec. Btw, I'm getting a used 2004.

So you got an RX8 with a 7500 RPM redline...............................instead of opting for the more powerful and 9000rpm redline.
