If I had Leno money I wouldn’t be buying any modern 911 found in a dealership. But I would definitely have a few.

If I had Jay Leno money I wouldn't have my entire clothing ensemble consist of jean pants and jean shirts lol, but yet he does it anyways.

Ever drive one, particularly an older air cooled one? They are an experience like nothing else. I’ve owned everything from a 1970 to a 2005 and they are phenomenal. Much like a rotary they are unique compared to most other cars, that’s what makes them special.

driven plenty, the older ones are loud and fun but I've never enjoyed them.
part of the reason is I don't exactly fit very well in most 911's (downside of being 6'6) and I just never cared for the styling. I appreciate them for what they are but they're not for me.

Fair enough, different strokes and all that. My biggest knock today is the fun per dollar, with a garden variety 996 coupe running more than $30k and a decent air cooled car double that, they have gotten officially stupid expensive. My first Porsche was a 1970 911T that I bought as a daily driver in 2003 for $4500. Not so much any more….
