It's a dream

I finally got my RX-8 Monday of last week, Winning Blue Grand Touring GPS/NAV. It is a dream I knew it would be great but she is a dream. I can't wait to take her on the track. It's amazing how much attention it gets even recognition from a driver of a Viper. Sorry but I had to annouce it to the club.

YOur right, its crazy how many other drivers turn their heads, and all the rubbernecking of people on the street. I just grin, when the shifts are smooth, and the turbine like whine kicks in.

I love RX-8.. but im 16 so i cant buy one yet... i always loved em' and admire rotary's... this morning i was driving to school in front of me a Cadillac Escalad... it made a right turn... at the gas station ... then i look ahead.. Bling Bling... Silver RX-8... this mid-age lady driving it... with a BIG GRiN on her face... she was smiling.. i sure as heck was looking at the car.. as well everyone around... come on if you dont... you got iSSUES...

While driving, my parent's volvo c70 coupe... i get alot of looks... but i dont get it why... some old people in volvo's and bmw's merc's look all snobby and shyt... give a bad look and drive off... i hate those poeple...

you RX-8 owners truly have a awesome car... congrats to all you owners... who have acquired one..

If you have a chance to get S-Plan wait for it!!! I got my 8 with s-plan pricing...ended up walking out the door paying 25,170...granted I did get a base model MT, but that is all i really wanted/needed and it 's still way way under invoice I've had my car since November and I still look at the Photo Gallery everyday...im sorry to say that there is no cure for your condition...lol

Yeah, man!

It sounds silly, but it's a whole new life now. I zainoed the finish, bonded with the car, and while I drive easy for break-in, just going out my driveway is like rolling a Formula 1 out onto the track. Taking hard turns causes laughter, just listening to that futuristic whine of the rotary is thrilling. Welcome, have fun, be safe! And do post your progress on your project, sounds awesome!

Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gray, Black Red and even the Green are all beutiful from the outside in. Welcome to the club! May you never regret it and don't you forget it.

Don't worry about the horse power, it gets you from point a to point bvery fast.

The gas mileage isn't really an issue, it uses a lot of fuel or a little it all depends upon how you drive it.

Most have said that it matters now what octane, 87 works as well as 92 and all in between.

Flooding? What flooding? A few have, most haven't. I've even done the dreaded start move and stop and it never flooded.

The stock tires will not drive in snow, know this now and plan for the future.

You are presently stuck with the radio it came with, but there are changes coming out every day.

The accessories are expensive but they will come down eventually, it's that way with every new model of a car.

There are improvement mods available, check out Canzoomer's Stage 1, soon to come stage 2, also several systems and intakes.

Love your RX-8, drive it like a banshee or like a Granny, either way you cannot abuse it.

Check your oil every 500 miles or so, it does use a bit, that is normal.

There's little mods to big mods...

Body kits that are still over priced but will drop eventually, also.

Consider getting some clear corner lights, this is by far one of the best looking things to do other than my third brake light RX-8 logo mod. (PM me, I can tell ya how)

Stickers are available for the RX-8 Club through PoLaK along with a few other ones he has.

Ignore the hemi powered pick ups and Dodge Stealth drivers who have something to prove, just drive on and don't give them the benefit of a look.

Show your colors, be proud, we know you will be because we are all just like you, still smiling from each and every time we have gotten behind the wheel of such a beautiful machine we love to call our own.

By the way, love your pics.

(Did I miss any opther big issues guys and gals?)
