Installed New EXEDY clutch w/ FIDANZA Flywheel

Just got my EXEDY clutch and Fidanza lightweight flywheel installed. WOW what a difference shifts are so quick and engine response is off the HOOK. I can't wait to eat some more 350z'S I love smokin' them as it is!!!!!!!!!!!:suitdance

enthegen 10-31-2008 04:37 PM

roched 10-31-2008 05:09 PM

Its worth it, really a good investment. And the improvement and the driving experience are awesome!!!!

Renesis07 10-31-2008 05:38 PM

I hope the butt dyno isnt messing with the actual results ;)

roched 10-31-2008 05:41 PM

enthegen 10-31-2008 06:36 PM

the seat of your pants dyno.. basically how the car feels to you not actually results.. :Freak_ani

roched 10-31-2008 06:42 PM

andrew_RX8 10-31-2008 06:46 PM

hey bro can u tell me where u bought the kit from and how much it cost? thanks
did u get the OEM replacement or the racing variant on the exedy?

+6 hp in 1st gear = negligible gains.

roched 10-31-2008 07:49 PM

its not the gains I am talking about I am talking about the transition in shifts thats all when you drop from 6th to 3rd and take off like a rocket there is no lapse in the shift thats all i am talking about

Razz1 11-02-2008 04:41 PM

It's quicker but not faster than a Z

CompMan 11-02-2008 04:48 PM

Still better than a Z

Razz1 11-02-2008 04:53 PM

Yepper, right on that one but...............

The new 370 may be something to consider.

Charles R. Hill 11-02-2008 04:55 PM

I have THE BEST prices on any of the Exedy clutches ($310, shipped, for the Stage 1) and my flywheel is 1.75 lbs. lighter than the Fidanza while also being reasonably priced ($375, shipped).

:banghead:

Good mod though, even if the clutch is only worth changing while it starts failing.
