if you were to paint your car what color would it be?. right now my 8 is black and as as you all black 8 owners black is the hardest color to keep clean and scratch-free besides my front bumper needs to be repaint so what you guys think would be a good color. thanks

nice signature btw! for the 8, i like lightning yellow the best. but, i find single-tone interior rather boring. so, if they ever offered a lightning yellow + black/ yellow leather interior, i think that would be my #1 choice. but, since that's never been an option, black + black/ red is my 2nd choice.

Well, seeing as I am crazy and all, I would love a bright pink/fuschia color. I know you won't pick that one!!! :)

Otherwise I have a thing for blue cars. But the colors have to be metallic/mica definitely. I don't like flat paint colors.

I figure if I ever have enough money I can always get that Ferrari I've been wanting since I was 2 and get it painted pink And I bet I'll have the only one that looks that way. :)

I'd go with a chameleon paint job.

Leave it black, it is hard to keep clean but looks the best :worship: . Just repaint the bumper. Big $ difference in repainting the bumper and painting the whole car.

Nice car in the link, adrian-1. I can't decide between black and blue for my '06. I was leaning towards blue, but everytime I see a nice black pic like that I get back on the fence again. Decisions, decisions.

Agreed, this is a stupid thread. Completely opinion. Of course whatever color the person has is the color they thinks looks the best.

I got red because they didn't have '05 lightening yellows, otherwise I woulda gone with yellow. If I could paint it any color, I'd get a deeper blue than the stock blue.

If I were having to repaint b/c of damage, I'd do what my budget affords and would stick with the velocity red.

HOWEVER, if money weren't an option, and I could repaint my entire car, the midnight strato blue offered in Japan is mighty purty.... :D:

I'd go with a dark candy apple red, or an orange/goldish color.

I saw the new, upcoming 07' Shinka and that Copper Red is absolutely beautiful.

Mean as hell though :) With some gold/bronze rims. Drool. I would never do it though but if someone else did it I would sure appreciate the creativity.

If I had a second '8 to repaint, I'd do it in Hyundai "Metallic Midnight Green" and use Ford "Metallic Mulberry" for the trim parts. I had the same scheme on my ex-Hyundai, and loved it. Dash and interior plastics were resprayed to match (in either colour), as well.
