yea. I would def get a mustang if youre looking for speed. Fast, cheap to make faster, loud. The 8 will blow away about 95% of the cars on the road around twisties. It all depends on the OP's driving and what he wants the car for.

 

topgear, technically it's bought.... insurance and all is on the car. i just refused delivery.. since it's not what they presented it to be.

i think the 8 is a perfect match. i need a car that needs to be driven hard and can be thrown around corners. a car that more nimble than fast.

 

so 04 roto8 my question is are you going to get a manual? because im telling you right now you wont be happy w/ an auto the way your talkning about driving, trust me ive had 350 z , srt4, even ole highly modified tiburon, now i have the 8 and i broke down and just bought nitrous b/c after almost every bolt on ive put on it still feels slow to me, i couldnt wait long enough for my turbo. so please tell me your getting a 6 spd!

 

thats my next mod also, after a few bolt ons and nothing but noise I finally said screw it!!! haha.

 

If they can find me a 6 speed, then I am getting a 6 speed for sure. As for my driving style, I've owned a 94 Stealth and 2000 GTS..... both of which had a too many mods done.

So I am praying they find me an 8 like I want in my price range.

Read post #27. Its soooo amazing what 3 minutes on google can do. And ironically enough it came right back to this forum. 0-60 in an AT at 7.5 seconds.

 

I Never owned one, but I have been selling them for 3 years, so drove them (and XRS) a lot. They always just seemed dead until the rpm's climbed a bit and was rolling. Then it felt like the power just kicked in. That is what I meant by "off the line".

You are right about the hp. It is 180. I must have been taking a hit off the crack pipe when I typed that.
