Now that's a great idea. In fact, there were some folks parting out wrecked RX-8s in the For Sale forum. If you're handy enough to replace it yourself you might be able to do it for just the cost of the wrecker-window and shipping.

However, if you just want it replaced and done with promptly $350 doesn't sound awful.
