hydrogen powerd RX8

That's very cool. The Hydrogen car uses regular gas and keeps a spare Hydrogen tank in the trunk (boot). One thing I have not seen discussed though:

oh it has too been discussed. search my posts for hydrogen and hindenburg and you'l see. go educate yourself;)
|
I meant discussed in the Mazda materials on the car... I'd expect we'd discuss it. We discuss everything. ;)
(Actually -- in fairness to Mazda -- they've discussed it too, but you have to read between the lines. Look at all the hydrogen sensors they've built into the car and the "gas tight" trunk - it's a problem, and I really hope they work it out). |
From what I understand is the flames will go strait up in the air and does not give off allot of heat. So it is still much safer then a gasoline fire. Replace the tank and trunk.

yeah so why would you want to bottle it up in a "gas tight" trunk instead of just letting it evaporate?
|
I agree you could have some kind of shield that ports the flame out the back. God help the car behind you. Ha Ha...

Sorry LOL
