it all depends on the stealership. some may only be an arm and a leg. some may ask for two legs. others may even have you throw in your first born child. do you have a good local bodyshop that can do it for you instead?

dealership will own you

either do it yourself or take it to a bodyshop

that's what I'm afraid of..... might have to attempt it myself.

flares and guards aren't to hard to install...though the latter will take longer

I asked my local Mazda the same question. Be weary when you go to body shops. Mazda told me that they don't do it, they have a body shop and recommended I call them. I called the body shop and asked if they re-painted the holes they drilled as per the instructions. The guy said, "nah, you don't need to do that!' I was like, "what!" So yeah, I'd only go to a body shop if I really trusted them. DIY is the best because you know you'll take the time to align everything, touch up paint and file the burrs off the the holes, etc. Unless you were really mechanically unadept, you should DIY. My 2 cents. Oh, BTW my Mazda charges about $80/hr for labor...

Can't speak to the aero flares or the rear splash guards, but I purchased a set of the front splash guards and installed myself. All I needed was a screwdriver and a Dremel with a cutting disk (to trim back the rubber rock guard underneath the rocker panels. Took about an hour to do both sides, and I took my sweet old time doing it. Easy.

Not worth paying the dealership, not to mention you will probably get better work done at a body shop.
