How much can I get for this car?

Hello,

I'm trying to sell this car for my mom and I don't really know what it's worth. The prices I have seen online seem to be all over the place.

It has some hail damage and the clear coat is rough in some spots. Other than that, it is a really nice car and runs/drives perfect. What do you guys think I could get for it?

I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this question and thanks in advance.

Your "mom" owned this car?

The body is a little rough, but I think you could easily charge for more if it operates fine. I paid $8,500 for my shitty 04 w/ 98k miles x_x << horrible buy btw.

I'll trade you cars? xP

Yes, my "mom" really does own this car :icon_tup:.

It was only driven periodically in the past year or so after she bought another car. The paint was already starting to deteriorate before it sat. I washed the car and took it for a test drive. It fired right up and ran perfectly. Not one squeak or rattle. It seems these cars can be prone to mechanical issues but this one has none.

Thanks for the reply and make an offer! Not really looking for trades at this time.

Cool your right down the street. I think that is a decent asking price considering the mileage. However most people buy for looks so the clear coat and hail damage may loose you some points. I would guess you would get some where close to $7500.

Have you never seen how quickly rust can show up on brake rotors? Just a couple of days is more than enough to start seeing some like that.

They drop down extremely fast. When I bought my car it was 1 year old and had 18k miles on it, the dealer had it for 16.9k I think and a new sport should be around 27k I believe.

Now you look at this 05 and it has some hail damage and needs to be repainted so the value continues to go down. We don't even know the condition of the engine so putting out a price is hard to do. If it was in perfect condition then the price would definitely be more.
