check general information. i have no guarantee, but the alarm is an electrical system. (if anything u can just unpower the alarm audio signal itself.)

The alarm uses my horn and the 4 way flashers, so when they are going off, I cant use my blinkers at all, and had to pull the fuse on my horn to get it to be quiet.

I just did a little more research, and it looks like the two keyring remotes arent even OEM ones, they are for a AutoPage RS-602 Alarm/Remote start system, and it has a Valet switch somewhere apparently... on the left window column theres a little LED in the plastic, not sure if thats stock or what.

Yikes, this sounds like it's aftermarket(and not even the aftermarket Mazda shock sensor........so to speak) so could be a bitch to figure out. My guess at this point would be that the wiring of it is suspect. A lot of times those stupid little press wiring clips that people use can go bad and not make good contact. I always just solder mine in, but................look up under the passenger side.......kind of behind the glove box and see if you have any sort of a module under there(that's where most put the Mazda one) and if so, see if you can trace some of the wiring back to where some little plastic press connectors and see if they are tight. Some of the wiring for the Mazda shock sensor is also tucked behind the passenger side right footwell piece.

You said you got some LED's in the plastic on the drivers side(I think), so you'll have to look there as well.......it's probably installed on that side.

Oh....now I see you have found out that it's an AutoPage RS-602 Alarm/Remote start system. I'm sure you're on a hunt, but you're going to have to find an istallation diagram for that or something and see what is wrong. Still betting on connection somewhere.

You got one of these?
Seems like I found the operations manual for it.
Haven't found any installation manual yet.....but still looking.

Here's a pic of what all you'd be looking for:

Well after I get off work I'll try to take some pics of what I find, and see if I can get anything to change.

If the alarm goes off at vibrations, your car probably has the add-on vibe alarm.

It is a little black box with a sensitivity knob on it.

Usually mounted on the passenger footwell wall, tied up to the wiring for the heater. Remove plastic cover, look up under the dash, turn sensitivity down.

if purchased from the dealer i believe it's under the driver's side. that's where mine is. installation after that is placed on the passenger side.

however, sounds like his is aftermarket.
