help with underbody

Would be grateful if someone can help on this:

When you guys look at your underbody, is there a blue cable dangling right around the center area of the underbody? Its still connected (from where to where Im not sure), but it hangs like a U in the middle and quite visible which I thought was odd (and maybe dangerous)

Reason is, yesterday night on my regular drives (about 70kmh) there was a damn debris on the road, it was a biker's helmet  (luckily half sized one). The road was too tight and crowded to make any sudden maneuvres, or braking, so I had to do the only thing I could, that is try to run it through the middle hopefully it will pass through... well it didnt go so well, there was a loud thud, I saw the helmet broke to pieces on my rear view mirror, so it must have hit something below me.
There was nothing odd about the car, no funny noises, from the car.
I have also inspected the car when I get home, there was no mark on the front spoiler which means that the helmet was not hit by anything in front of the car... didnt notice anything much on the underbody either, there were some scratches on the metal on the side, but everything looks fine, except for that blue wire which hangs slightly in the center... I wondered if some coverings broke.

Im in the office know, forgot to take a picture of it, but will do when I get home today.

So do you guys see a wire on the underside too?

I think this topic was ever discussed. I think that's a sensor cable for the cat. A lot of car have that, remember a STI owner ever told me that he rip his off when he went thru a road divider.
Anyway, try, if possible, not to run your car right in the middle of an object on the road. The engine is sitting very low on the chassis, the trasmission, cat, etc are all line up in the middle of the chassis.
