Help me identify this part!
1 Attachment(s)
So, I was getting into my car the other day, and I stepped on something as I put my foot in the car. Turns out I stepped on this slightly bent black metal bar, about four inches long with a screw on one end and a knob on the other (see attachment).
I'm assuming that this should be, you know, connected to something instead of rolling around the footwell. I'm guessing that it either belongs somewhere under the dash or under the driver's seat, but I can't figure out exactly where. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
OH NO! DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR!
j/k, don't have a clue |
It's the bracket that holds the Left, Front floormat in place.
|
Thats the dingle bopper 5000
Really really really need to put it back. It goes under the drivers seat, screws down and the nob that points up, hold the floor mat in place. |
nothign to worry about its just your apex seal
|
Yeah that holds the drivers side mat in place so it doesnt slide around. Too late for me, i already tore my all weather floor mat by the cluth and split up the hole that attaches the mat to that thing. I drive really ugly :banghead:

Its the new R3 engine.

I'd vote for it being the floor mat hook, except the hook is a plastic piece. Have they improved it? Ken |
Just having fun since he got his answer (floor mat bolt).
|
Lmao... imagine if he believed most of the answers on here.... no biggie like everyone says its just the floor mat screw

Dear god, how did you get your Flux Capacitor 2000 out?!
|
WOW is that a piston from our engine?
|
Thanks for the responses.
Er, at least the accurate ones. Anyway, I popped the piece back into place, but it pulls out very easily. I think that I need to have the dealer take a look at it next time I go in. |
