Help! Car shutting off

I have experienced my car shutting off 3 times the past few days when I come to a stop. The car starts right back up.

Things to know:
Car has 116,000 miles
05 Rx8
Coils and plugs were replaced a year ago.
Air filter was pretty dirty when I pulled it out! (Going to get a new one today) (maybe original as well)
Battery is original as well.

Anyone else experience this?

Stick.. Also, I'm not great with cars, Where is the MAF located? I would assume somewhere in the intake coming from the air filter?

thats right its between the filter box and the throttle body. unclip the harness, remove the two small screws, remove maf sensor. i cant remember if the screws are torx or allen but dont strip them putting them back in. spray the sensor with maf cleaner dont touch it, its fragile. when its removed make sure the o ring is in good shape

I had this issue a couple months ago and it was the fuel pump.
You can get it here:

You may also try searching "fuel pump".

I'm having the same issue as well, but everytime i read about a solution to this problem, it is mostly about replacing the coils, plugs, wires, and a few other parts as well...but rarely i hear about the fuel pump...hmmmm, this might be the problem with my car...idk :dunno:
