just read around on the forum, look over the stickies. do a little homework about what to look for and how to take care of the car.

Welcome to the forum. =]

We actually have a thread like this (or very similar) every other day so do take some time to
1) get used to the forum and its functions
2) go look at existing threads (look at the older pages as well)
3) use the search function for some more specific questions.

But generally, opt for a newer RX8. The 2004 had the most problems because it was the first production model so you should preferably try to find an 06+. 05's are okay as well. There are plenty of cars for sale here on the forum and MOST of the forum cars should be better maintained then that random one you find at that dealership on your way to work or on autotrader.

Stay away from mult-owner cars. Avoid salvage title, the usual stuff. You'll find more helpful threads in "Rx-8 Discussion", I promise. Good luck and have fun while you're here. =]

It never hurts to be a female when you are a (potential) troll. You are not nearly as flammable.

Before buying an 8, take it to a dealer and get it checked out. Compression test, plus a good look-see at all the usual stuff. Find a good dealer by checking the good guy/bad guy forum, or post your city and see if someone here can recommend one.
