Weak ignition means Ignition coils or wires?

Go ahead and change them both. And if the car got flooded, 6 months old or not, probably be best to go ahead and change the plugs as well.

I agree on the coils, wires and sparkplugs. Just tell them to do all 3 to be safe and keep you from a second visit

Oh by the way. To prevent this from happening again. We cant stress how much you need to have the car warmed up before shutting the engine down. We arent able to take these kind of cars for short drives. For the car to pass some kind of regulations for production, they had to run the fuel mixture lean at cold start ups but by them doing this, the car is more prone to flooding if the engine is still cold while being shut off. Which in turn gums the spark plugs, than ruins the wires. But the OEM coils are garbage to begin with. I dont own the BHR ignition system but have heard that their coils are superior compared to the OEM and whats great about them is that they are easy to install and uninstall back to stock. Next time someone works on your car, make sure they are certified on rotarys.

I know about the flooding, I hav never done that. I am taking to shop to put on ,machine. Less than 2,000 miles on plugs. Normal cars run rough if it is plug wires or coil, would think this one would too. But, never expect the normal with these cars. :crazy:

to all you people who have a problem with the car not starting.

My problem was the catalytic converter. Changed plugs and worked for a little while, so don't do ANYTHING until you have a dealer check the converter. It is now under warranty up to 80 thousand miles.
