Hello from Central PA

Just picked up my bland new 07 RX-8 with 38miles that i ordered back in January yeasterday. i had to order one, because they could not find Phantom Blue mica with AT that had no option...
My first brand new car! And my first rotary powered car. So far, so good. I can't wait for the brakein periods are over! (Keepin below 4500rpm for 1500miles)

It is:
2007 RX-8 Grand Touring
6Speed Automatic with paddle shifter
Phantom Blue mica
bigger disc, Torsen LSD..... well, i'm sure you guys all know what it comes with.
No optional equipment tho. I didn't have any money left...

well, anyway here are the all important pics!!!

Welcome from another keystone stater!

You will find oodles of information on the forum. Most of it good, some of it not so good. Common sense should tell you which is which. The DIY section contains some real jewels and if you have questions, try searching the appropriate sections. Chances are that just about any question you may have, technical or otherwise, has already been asked and answered over the past 3 or so years.

Again, welcome and if this is your daily driver, make sure you get snow tires before the flakes fly next Winter.

Welcome girlie! And another phantom Blue owner as well.

I also couldn't find any phantom blues here in northern va, and had to swap around with a dealership somewhere in BFE maryland. Glad you got what you like, its nice to see a lady who knows what she wants. jk. Enjoy.

StateCollege.
I looked 2 RX-8 at Dean Patterson, and they were A-holes.
I guess they didn't take me seriously, because i look about 20, and we took my BF's beat up Geo Prizm. They tried to tell me that i'd look good in Mazda 3, after I told the guy i'm interested in RX-8 in AT.

FKers..

I'm not a big fan of blue cars, but I gotta say, that color looks pretty sweet! Congrats.

How was your experience with Rider Mazda? I am a Senior here at PSU and could tell that's where the pictures were taken from. I have a BB that you'll see me driving around from time to time. Remember to wave!!

Congrats on the new car.

i was rather impressed with the mica blue. It looks...different. But in a good way!

She looks great...remember to walk through that break-in properly! I wouldn't doubt that it could possibly someday affect your MPG! *shhhh*. I didn't just say MPG.

Congrats and welcome aboard!

Congrats on the new car.

Buying a car from Rider was okay. We went there x2, each time they didn't bother to come and talk to me. Because appearently, they don't bother come out to talk to us. SO my BF went inside to talk to manager and told him that we are here to buy a car, but appearently sales mans are not interested in salling the cars(i'm sure someone got in trouble for that specially after she bought BN RX-8)

If your interested in dealing with them, ask for Kevin. He treated us right

I've had way too many problems with service with them. I had to write a 3 page letter to them and threatened to send it to MNAO and then they finally took care of me. Just beware... If you have another Mazda Dealer anywhere near where you are when you need one, use them!
