Having some recalls done, what to watch for?

Both airbags, front control arms and the fuel supply system. Do they have to take the dash out to replace the passenger bag? I see the passenger side has a hairline outline crack of where the bag is. Just a cosmetic thing but will it get worse? And will an alignment be done after the control arms are replaced? And what if they flood the car starting it? I never had that problem except when I first got it but learned to start it correctly so it won't flood. You have to release the key at just the right time during cranking.

If they flood it, they will unflood it. There is no magic trick - or need - to avoid flooding if your car is healthy. If you have to perform a little dance to avoid it, fix your car. They should perform an alignment as part of the control arm replacement.

The crack in the dash will continue to grow, so plan to have ot replaced. How much the recall affects it will depend on the size of hams the mechanic is working with.
