has anyone tried auto transport?

Hi, I will be sending my rx8 from CA to MI tomorrow, and I am wondering if I can put my stuffs inside the car, like in the trunk and back seats. I have made it sure that it won't fall off but I am just a bit worried. Has anyone experienced my case?

That would be foolish to do. They have your key to your belongings..

Let the auto transporter company knows that you have belongings inside the trunk and let them know that if it ever went missing or tampered with, then they are responsible for the items.

They will not accept the responsibility.

Think about it....

Give them the car with the second\service key and lock your boot with the stuff inside. Job done.

when i worked with a travelling company many people used transports for their cars and none had an issue, but make sure they're reputable, do the service key with locked boot, and research the company on the 'net. :)

here in canada ( when i worked for a mazda dealership we shipped lots of cars ) they said it saves on weight and also in case of an accident, the cars may catch on fire.
