hankook ice bear
So I searched and it seems as if the hankook ice bear winter tires suck! am I correct? I found a set for 300$ should I avoid them?

not sure on those tires but have you check out www.tirerack.com ?
they should have rankings for the tires |
yup no luck on tire rack.
|
I've been using them for 2 winters now...and will be using them again this winter. I've had no issues with them
|
can you give me a review as far as how they perform in different conditions? what did u pay for them?
thanks! |
Well most of the roads I drive on are plowed when it snows. I've only been stuck once in the snow and that was cuz the road wasn't plowed and it was too high for the 8.
I don't really know what to tell you about them. They've kept me on the road and not in a snowbank or ditch when I used them. I don't drive aggressively in the winter so for my purposes, they're perfect. Never had trouble stopping in snow or extreme cold. I paid about 800 for a set of 17s on steelies...but this is in Canada so I don't know if the price comparison is valid. |

Hankook Winter Tire <-- Click Me :) |
I have the Dunlop Winter Sport M3's and they handled very nicely in 5in of snow.

DO NOT GET ICEBEARS IF YOU HAVE DEEP SNOWS.
Get the Hankook iPike W409s. I have them, I love them, I will buy them again and again. They are far more agressive in tread design, run very quietly, and are just an amazing value. IMO. |
I meant 300 for all 4 tires. I live in maine so I get deep snow. last winter 12'' was considered a dusting! LOL, thanks for the review rems!
