Got ours within the month.

 

I didn't get mine either, and I bought the car during the end of April 2005. Called MNAO to ask about the touch up paint gift, and the representative told me to call the dealership. I also checked the RX-8 accessories page for touch up paint from the Mazdausa website and they have every color except Whitewater Pearl (also the color of my 8). Maybe that's why I didn't get mine?

 

i got 2 bottles sent to me as two differnt gift packages, from two different dealers, wierd, but hey it was free

 

Got my bottle of NG last week - bought the car end of March.

Nor me. Im From Puerto Rico but are cars are imported from MNAO

 

I had to complete a survey for Mazda before getting my paint. I got it a couple months after I bought the car.

 

I called MNAO a while back. Not because of not getting the touch up paint, but I was concerned that perhaps they didn't send it because they didn't know about me. I wanted to make sure that they did because of the pending recalls. Turns out that they had my address wrong. The rep I spoke to was very nice and asked at the end of the conversation if I wanted the touch up paint. I said sure, and it was here in 2 days.

I got a nice little bottle of Silver touch up paint exactly 5 months after I bought the car.

Exactly 2 days after I had placed an order online for a bottle of touch up paint from another dealer (I think they have spies)

But that wasn't the best part of this free gift....

My car... WHITE Pearl, not silver!!!


Heh.. I sent them an email, and they were more than happy to send me out a bottle of WHITE touch up paint this time. So now i've got more touchup paint than I ever hope to need.

 

They also sent me a bottle of silver. Who did you email to get your white touch up paint. I just noticed a small chip in my front bumper and would like to fix it.

 

it got touch up paint, a dvd, some stickers (2), a t-shirt, hat and key chain from mazda about 3 weeks after I bought the car.

From the dealer about 1 week after that, I got a gas card good for 1 free fillup, a tin of cookies (look home-made....kinda scary lol) and a bunch of paper work about extedning my warranty and all the extra bonus stuff they do at differnt service intervals and how much it costs.

 

hmm, I never got my touch up paint. Might have to call MNAO and see what's going on.

 

I ask my mazda dealer salesman, he doesn't know what a touch up paint is, what a ******* idiot. I went to see the mechanics, they said it doesn't come with the car, ask me to go to bodyshop and mix. I went to bodyshop, they said just live with the chips, its just very minor. I go to pissed off land, decided to get new bodykit.

 

Yiksing, Dude, Dont you know your to never call the Dealer. They dont know there a$$ from a hole in the ground lol

 

Problem is they are the only one I can go to because all car manufactures dealer are monopolized where I live but I never would have expect salesman not knowing what touch up paint is.

I still haven't gotten my touch up paint for my black 8.

 

Got one for my RX-8.

Got one for my Mazda6.

 

Funny how Mazda knows how weak their paint is, and then their remedy is sending out free touch-up paint.

And then the paint is a PITA to use too
