Yes , attention comes as a standard accessory on this car.

It does get attention-I was pulled out-of-la line of at least 7 other vehicles going about 72 mph-by a motorcyle CHP
Why me I stated---Why not he replied, looks like you can afford it

Man, they charged me extra as an option!

My car came with the standard "crazy guy in a big pickup truck who wants to race you then passes you on the shoulder throwing rocks at your brand new 1 day old car... followed by a ricer who keeps zooming around your car wanting to race as you are trying to break in the car and not drive at any one speed."

Personally, I'd have paid extra to get rid of that option, but I don't care much for BMWs.

He he, I kind of understand. That's why I got silver, I figured since it was the most common color around it wouldn't stand out as much as a yellow one. I've only had it 3 days now and I can't count how many times someone's pointed at it. There aren't a whole lot of them around in MN.

attention is not an option it comes with every 8

SiMplyBluE 04-28-2004 12:41 PM

I initially loved the car for the looks it got and the car itself. Now I just love the car for itself! :D

It is standard equiptment since it is subsidized by the Chiropractors Association of America. They make it up on all the twisted necks of other drivers.:D

RotorManiac 04-28-2004 09:37 PM

It usually takes me more time to get to my destination than with a normal car, because every goddamn time someone stops me asking info about the car :D I often also find fingerprints on driver's window, seems people want to have look inside too :)

I teach at a University -- every time I look out my office window a different group of students are gawking at the car.

I'm just hoping that the kids that fail my class don't find out who drives it! :)

Downhere w/my Titanium I dontget as much attention as I thought I would. I guess thats justthe way people in Miami are. My car still turns heads everynow and then but I dont think anyone has pulleddown their window or revved me and asked about the car in months. Thenagain Titanium isnt as flashy as blue or yellow orsome of theother colors so perhaps that is why. It makesno difference to me though.

Over the weekend I was at a friends house. All of a sudden, my friend looks out the window and says
"Someone is looking at your car." I looked at him unphased, then he says "No you don't understand, they passed the car, stopped, put it into reverse and looked at your car for a few minutes." I just popped my head up to see what car they had. It was a newer Honda Accord V6 Coupe.

Detailing it on Saturday, the mailman proceded to ask about the 8. He finished his questioning with, I have to go test drive it. I said to go ahead, but keep in mind you test drive it, you are going to buy it:)

around my area, it doesn't seem like the 8 gets that much attention. its mostly the big expensive benz's/suvs/ or ricers.

even my car doesn't get that much attention.
