Front Bumber Clearance/Gap Question
 

Alright so yesterday I revieved and installed my Racing Beat Screens and Clear Corners :rock: oh yeah I was proud of myself. Took some patience since this was my first real "working on" of a car since my previous ones were PoS's. Today I noticed that the sides of my bumber was sticking out partialy where I could see that lil white plastic. I got home did a lil readjusting so the sides were now not sticking out and its lined up nice.. Sadly...

Sadly now I realize the gap or clearance depending on how you want to classify this between my bumber and hood is off. One side is higher up than the otherside. Just curious for those who havent messed around with their bumber what is the measurement between the hood and the bumber I'll take either a measurement from the bumber or the plastic piece attached to it.

what the heck is a bumber?

You need to take the nose off and reattach the steel bumper that's underneath, making sure that it's level. If that bumper is tightened more on one side than the other, your nose will be crooked. I did that when I installed my screens- I kicked myself as soon as I put it all back together.

ok so you want to know what the distance, horizontally, between the leading edge of the hood and th ehighest edge of the nose piece is? if that correct. ive had mine off befor ebut my gap is very consistent. ill go measure it and be right back

from painted edge to painted edge(not to the black piece) mine is veryconsistent at half an inch. there is aslight difference on the passenger side of about 1/32 narrower but its not noticeable just looking at it. i think that is actually a slight variation in the edge of the hood and not a positioning issue
