Flashed on the freeway
 

I was on the freeway last night and there aren't radar cameras on the freeway but there are vans that usually like to sit around and flash people speeding by. Well, I was going on the freeway and the speed limit is 65 mph. We all drive rx-8s, so we know the fun of them, and I was going 108mph :banghead: I think I was flashed, but I'm not sure at all because I had noticed the flash barely in the corner of my eye. I was wondering when people get flashed for speeding, are the lights really bright and noticeable? Because if they are then I think I'm getting worked up for nothing because it was just a small little light. :scared:

Also, I'm almost positive I didn't see a van parked on the side of road.

Fortunately, no. AZ loves to put cameras and speed vans on the side of the road to increase revenue

on a side note: Since you live in AZ and they LOOOOVE speed cameras, vans, etc, I highly recommend you look into a good radar detector. Don't cheap out on it either, it'll be worth the money.

and also here in AZ I believe it's the law that a picture of my face is needed also for proof of who was driving. If I saw no flash from the front, I think I might be okay...

We have 2 of the vans that they only use in work zones. The truck drivers say the flash is so bright it's dangerous at night. They are temporarily blinded.
Here the vans use a very strong K band signal, so you get plenty of warning.
