Finally got to work on my baby!

I had some time this weekend (not working and my folks were watching my kid) so I got around to doing some shiz. First, I hard-wired my Sirius and hid all the cables - I hate having crap coming out of the cigarette lighter. I have a small unit mounted at the left lower corner of the windshield. The antenna is barely visible under the back glass and the power cable runs under the dash and is wired into the back of the cigarette lighter and has an inline fuse. I also wired in a phone cable to the sunroof switch in anticipation of my radar detector, which will hopefully come in the next day or two. I had a rattle from one of the panels when the car was cold that I fixed by wedging some felt b/w two of the panel pieces (I know there will be other rattles, but this one was driving me nuts!). As much as I hated to do it, I also put on a front plate. I've been driving around SF for three weeks now w/o one and am amazed everytime I come back and don't have a ticket; at least now I can relax about that.

I'm loving this car more and more. I really like the suicide doors, even though it really had nothing to do with me buying the car. This thing handles great, has enough power, is easy to drive, and gets lots of compliments from friends/people in general (even my wife likes it, which is saying something). I even got 20 mpg on my last tank!

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to share my stokage!

That sounds great man! Sounds like you are handy with installations.
