Few Questions
 

Was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me...

1.) Can you twin turbo or dual supercharge the rx-8?

2.) How do you make the turn signals white or clear (not clear corners), The front of the car not the side you can get rid of the orange bulbs. Is it legal in California?

3.) Can you put more then just two side strakes per side of the car, if so do you have any pictures?

I don't know about the first two questions, but I have seen as many as 3 strakes on each side.

Here is my stab at it
1.) Well no twin turbo or supercharger kits are out yet. You could always drop a 13B from the FD in if you have paper stack ($$$$), patience, and time.
2.) Use stealth bulbs--they come up frequently on ebay and I believe thew carries them at www.mazdaparts.com I put them in the back on my 8--the front fitment was too much of a hassle than so I left it alone. Those stealth bulbs are legal because they illuminate orange but appear silver. The only problem is that some people complained they are not bright enough for safety--I don't have a problem with them.

I see that you have an A/T and want 300 HP and 250lb/ft of torque. Well right now that is unrealistic with the A/T; however RE Amemiya has a turbo available in Japan for the A/T and one member has fitted the Greddy turbo to his A/T. I suppose you could go turbo and nitrous. The problem with the Greddy kit is that the best 0-60 times that particular owner got with the A/T + greddy was about 6.4 seconds--while a nice improvement over stock--it is just as fast as a M/T. I'd take the money for the greddy install and turbo and trade in for a M/T.

1) I guess you could do anything..is it cost efective is really the question.

2)I think it is not legal..but I do not live in that state.

3) Good question...I think you could, but again...do you really want to? You coulkd alwasy get a machine shoup to fad your own.
