Feeler Thread! Key hole / Bumper plugs!
 

First off my name is John Perez and I'm the owner of iKONA (formally known as Delta Customs) Im trying to bring these to the RX-8 because my gf just got a laser blue one and its a neat ride.

This is not a sale thread and I got permission from the Administration to do this. I am not even selling these until if I become a vendor / sponsor.

Key hole / Bumper plugs!

Installing is simple, just match up the shape of the back of the plug with the inside of the key hole assembly, most self hold but if not then add a drop of light adhesion to one side (hot glue, silicone, emblem glue, etc) and place it in. Do yourself a favor and give your car a cleaner uninterrupted look by covering that out of place silver key hole and buy a set of key hole plugs.

Why RX-8? Well I always loved Mazdas because of the RX series and after finding out that the ford mustang and the rx8 and most of the new mazdas share the same door handle I can easally make them for the RX8

To get a color generated I need at least 3 orders for each color to start so please specify the color you need.

cool idea... if i had keyless entry I would be all over this

ew we have the same handles as the new mustangs? eh not sure im unhappy with my keyholes. if they start to bug me i'll let you know hahah

We don't? I've yet to look at the passenger door honestly, I haven't seen my 8 in 3 weeks now as well, so I can't remember, I just assumed based off the crappy SUV I've been having to drive.. Well, if we don't, then... driver only :P

Can you make some plugs for the spoiler holes on the trunk?

I just went look and we don't have a key hole on the passenger side, only driver. So classy

i used my keyhole once, just to check if the valet key worked. never used it again.

less than 2 mcd's meals means >$10.

p.s. there is no lazer blue, you probably mean "winning blue."

Brilliant black here. I would be interested especially cause its so cheap. You should do them for the trunk too.

If you actually need your key(dead battery maybe?) could you dig it out and use the key hole?

the trunk is in the light housing and thats transparent...

Yes if somebody could please measure the holes then Id be glad to do so.

Id like to give prices but I was asked by the administration not to. If you guys go to my website you could see ballpark pricing by looking at other models.

im interested in winning blue for the driver side. my passenger side doesnt have a key hole, what would the trunk one look like?
