fan speed display

On the center console information display screen, there is actually something like a fan speed display, but mine doesnt come on.

Does it suppose to come on? Or do I need to do something? I looked at my manual, but doesnt say much about that display.

For reference, please look at manual pg. 6-40.

I believe that's part of the Climate Control display, which we don't get on the US version.
