Eyelines, yes or no?
Hey folks,
I've been pondering the idea of getting some eyelines for the 8 recently. What's everyone's opinion of them? I had some on my old car and they looked great, but I can't seem to find any good pictures of them on 8s... |
No.

No.

Well, that works too.
Thanks guys |
I don't like that they add a three dimensional bump on what is otherwise a clean line on the car. They work on some cars, but I haven't seen a good enough set for this one.
|
Do what you want to do man. That's what car mods are all about.
|
Personally, not a big fan, but if you like them go for it. It's your car do what you want with it.
|
ive got them. get the 3d effect the sticker ones are not the best
|
found mine really cheap on ebay. cost around 36 to get to me and paid another guy to paint
|
To each his own, if you like the look of them who cares what we think? You might have more luck if you search for them as 'eyelids', which is how I see them referred to more often.
Google turned up a couple..generally, they'll look something like this http://www.jdmgallery.com/wp-content...Kuro_vagos.jpg |
God no.
|
I think they could work but the 3d bump is what kills it for me...if it was a smooth surface that didnt break from hood it might look clean, they all just look kinda glued on
|
No!

If you mean eyelids, I would just leave it alone unless you can have it compliment the rest of the car. I've been debating on whether or not I want to get eyelids as well since the full Burnout Type II comes with a pair. I have a full Shine Auto Type II and figured it would be nice to complete the whole look, but the idea of covering part of your headlights just doesn't appeal to me.
|
I personally think stick on eyelids look the best. Do them the same colour as the car. I've just used silver plastictape on mine and it looks great in my opinion. Each to their own tho . .
