exhaust voids warranty?
I went today to a place that speacializes in aftermarket accessories. To make a long story short I was told that if I add anytype of aftermarket exhaust or basically do anything, my warranty will be VOIDED. Has anyone had any experience dealing with this?

dont sweat it, the dealership i work for doesnt even care what exhaust is on your vehicle that just means those parts you replace lose their warranty.

Make sure to do a search, as this has been discussed previously in greater detail.
My me, I decided the dealership would decide for me if it would void the warranty -- according to them last week, it would. That told me if I put an exhast on, I would then have issues with any further service at that dealership, even though SEMA has addressed warranty issues involving aftermarket parts. If you have a dealership willing to keep your warranty intact, try to get it in writing, and go get your exhaust:) |
My dealer said they would put my cat back on for me, no big deal.

How about a Cold air inake?
