Purchased brand new, May 2006 for $19,999
Sold with 36000 miles, June 2011 for $13000
So cost was about $115 per month to own it. Not bad at all.

Thank you to everyone here. This is by far the coolest car community on the interwebz. Thank you for all the help throughout the years.

Thats sad. What car are you switching to? Or I guess a better way to phrase it is reason for selling?

Starting a family. Looking to get a big truck and a 4 door sedan.

The car was wonderful. My wife shed a tear when it went away.
I am sad to see it go. It was a great car, but the time has come to move on.

Well good luck in your new endeavors. $115/month isn't bad at all. You could have spent twice that on a boring economy lease car.

Thought no one liked the pics.

I'm sad to see my car go, it was suppose to be the family car, but he convinced me to rethink. We will see if I decide to get another one later on down the road.

Having a family is a wonderful thing. Getting new vehicles is a nice thing. Losing the rx8...priceless.

Um no, the pics were great, your hubby is a lucky dude. Congrats on the family.

I have already decided that since my car is seven years old now that it is going to die with me. I would never get my money back out of it so I will just keep it and make it a track rat.

Lol! Thanks, but I saw what other people were posting. Little did they know I'm a troll.

As for the family goes not yet because we can't cram 3 of us in my little 2 seater.

On the up note my dad still has his '04 velocity red 8 that I might take over instead. Although I did love the whitewater pearl.
