Engine Questions

I need help bad..
I have a 2004 maunel rx8..

It cranks normal but will not start...

Im trying to figure out why but I dont know much about the car engine being rotary in all...

So my questions are:

How to get the engine back on timing?

Does it have a timing belt?

What makes rotors move?

Please help..

Have you tried the de-flood procedure? If I remember right (never needed it), floor the accelerator then crank for 10 seconds, then take your foot off the gas and try to crank it normally for 10 seconds.

you probably flooded it. try the deflooding procedure as stated above. there are also several in the DIY section if you dont mind getting dirty.
