Engine Light

I started my car today and the shitty engine light came on. I'm taking the car in on tues to do the recall crap, so it'll be fixed then--but any ideas on what it may be??

Check engine lights are set to come on when something happens that increases the cars emissions over 1.5 times the legal limit.

Sorry, I know that didn't help to much. It very well could be something as simple as a loose gas cap.

hmm...im going to check my gas cap whenever i go back outside..THATD BE AWESOME IF THATS WHAT IT WAS!!

Could it possibly be a fried o2 sensor??

try closing ur gascap and then resetting your ecu, then turn the car on again and see if the light comes back on again

after you check the gas cap it will take a day or two for the light to go off. 9 out of 10 times it is the gas cap
