The Engine Light went on a few days ago. It stays on I checked the manual and it said to check and make sure Gas Cap was on tight and tank full. I tried these however the light stays on. I called the dealer he said probaly nothing but bring it in any ideas out there??

 

It's probably nothing, but I'd bring it into the dealer - it doesn't cost anything to do so.

Also, the light will go off after a set number of key cycles (key on, key off) - give it a day or so of normal driving and if it goes out, so be it. If it persists after the weekend, go take it in.

 

I don't agree with this "probably nothing" theory. It goes on for a reason. Get it checked out. It could be something minor, but it is something.

 

Took it into the Dealer turns out it needs a new Oxygen Sensor the part was ordered and will be in shortly.
