Engine Builders
Hey guys, so I'm getting awfully close for an engine rebuild, and currently it is snowing outside :).
I've done some search and it turns out the closest rotary shop is in Schaumberg, Illinois, Which seems to be the elite rotary shop. I read about them on a couple of websites and several people recommend against them, so I am staying away from them. I currently reside in the mid-west, Around Iowa and Nebraska. I can't find another shop closer than Illinois or Schaumberg, and I have no idea where-else to go other then Banzai Racing that's in Pierceton? I've thought about rotary ressurection but thats a two-day drive and I would end up paying more for shipping then the engine itself funny enough... Anyone have some good takes on Banzai Racing? Or is there some sort of hidden shop around the Mid-west? Anything will help really, thanks in advance! |
This is all the info I can provide.
If you do happen to find someone not on the list, please post it there. Thanks. https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...ilders-265177/ |
Oh shoot, howd I miss that??? Thank you very much!

It would be a lot easier to find if it was a sticky. :dunno: |
I think that should definitely be a sticky, would help save space for uneccessary posts like this :scratchhe
But will definitely look into that... would you happen to have any recommendations other then rotary elite shop? :) |
Banzai is a good one, I have bought several parts from them, have some good experience.
Another one is called eccentric motorsport, never dealt with them but seemed reputable. |
I think I might stick with them, Their prices are hard to beat really, Not as good as rotary ressurections, but they are very far.. Almost a two day trip!

Banzai Racing is one of the best in the country, absolutely bring your 8 to Chris. My opinion :)
