Ecu

What are some signs that the ecu is fried? Would my coil pack not getting any spark be one of these signs??

Your coil pack not getting any spark would be a sign that your coilpack is fried.
Hold on, you have a BHR upgrade? Hmm.

ECU failure is suuuper rare, but often other issues get diagnosed as that. It's basically a computer so it either works or it doesn't. Not much middle ground. What issues are you seeing exactly?

ECU failure is rare. Unless you have an alternator over-volting, or you hook up your battery connections backwards somehow. Both of those tend to fry the ECU really fast.

If you have ignition problems, try solving the ignition first. All 12 parts should be replaced every 20,000 to 30,000 miles, as they fail rapidly. If you want to get anal about it, you can replace the plugs every 10,000, the coils every 20,000, and the wires every 20,000-30,000, and you would be replacing them at a good interval.

Get a spark tester or a timing light to validate no spark, as well as consistency of spark.

When you hear hoofbeats at a horse farm, think horses, not zebras.

to answer your question yes I have the bhr upgrade. Had it since january. I started getting bad misfires after I replaced my exhaust during march. Long story short, my car died one night and has not started since. When I try to start the car it smells like fuel and when I tried to see an ark on my spark plugs, nothing.

Check your ignition ground and the engine block ground. No return path for the voltage to the coils or the spark plugs = no spark too

The problem has been solved. Turns out I just needed to ground the coil
pack to a better place and wallaaa, its running good again!

So did you not follow the BHR install instructions? I thought about that being a possible issue but I figured since you said it was driving fine with it for two months that wasn't the issue.
