Dumb Question

What's the difference between a Base model RX-8, a GT, and a GTP??

Ok. I know what a GTP is. There's touring, grand touring, and sport. But I see some people write that their car is a GT. Do they mean GTP??

if you go the mazda site it will answer all you ???

there is a base, sport, touring and a grand touring. gtp was grand touring prototype in imsa in the mid to late 80s.
