Is the DSC switchable?

I've opted for the Sport package, because I want the HID headlights but don't want the extra weight that comes with all the electric goodies.

This package also includes DSC, which will be very handy when my wife drives the car (not a sexist remark, simply a statement of fact), but there are certainly going to be times when I'll want the ability to toss the car around with gay abandon without any electronic jiggery-pokery betting between me and the laws of physics.

So to my question: does anyone know if the DSC is switchable? If so, is it an on/off switch, or is it one of those systems that automatically enables itself every time the car is started and has to be manually disengaged every time?

It's absolutely 100% defeatable

However about turning off the car and it remembering.. I don't think so. My Millenia re-engages the traction control every time I turn off the car.

there is a DSC cut-off switch. However, like rear window defoggers a.o, it resets when you switch off the engine

Since it is omputer controlled you should be able to "switch" the signal to default to off and have to manually turn it on if you want it. This was possible in my '99 Z28. So I'm sure someone will be able to do the same.
