Does this look like a fun drive?

I've been playing around with Google Earth and took this screenshot of a drive that I have made quite a few times. It can be pretty intense.
The road that appears on the east side of the photo is a continous climb until the 3 + signs at the south middle part of the picture. That is the summit which is around 8700 ft. Any good shots of your favorite drive? |
I'd hit it...sideways...or just normally really fast...or sideways really fast...i think i got my point across...:)

tail of the dragon > that :o
Just playing, cool overhead! |

When I lived in Atlanta we would travel up to the North GA mountains (about 90 minutes away) once every 5 or 6 weeks to drive on these roads.

Just watch out, I have seen a couple bikes and a 240 donated to the mountain walls over the years. |

Yes.

I live in NC and for me a weekend drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and taking the winding roads of the small mountain towns is the most fun for me.

This is my little town in the Ozarks. Pick a road in any direction. :)

Thanks for posting your view Ozark (and MazdaMonkey for posting the links). That was what I had in mind for this thread. As do most of the threads I start (all handful of them), it fell flat. :)
TimzSI, I know that it wouldn't compare to the Tail of the Dragon, but is is a fun drive nontheless. One thing that helps is that a few miles after you hit level ground on the other side and can open it up a bit, there is a little tourist area that has a great lunch. Then you turn around and do it in reverse to get back home. :) Edit: Not literally in reverse, just driving in the opposite direction. ;) |
wow that's some pretty cool turns from the satellite view.
