Disconnecting 0BD2 Port-Wiring From The Dash
Its the only thing holding the dash on at the moment, so is it a case of pinging the wires of with a tool from the driver seat or am I looking for something behind the dash to disconnect the port as I cant see anything. Very tight behind there just to even get your hand in. Just trying not to break anything and do it right.
Please and thanks. Regards Aidan |
Don't cut the wires if you plan to use your car again. It will end badly.
If you have the drivers seat out (4 bolts), you can lie down on the floor and have full access to the module. As I recall it's in a bracket held with 2 bolts. |
Good heavens, had myself convinced there was no screws there as I was looking how they go in cars on YT, Will have another look so thanks:)

So its dangling there after prying it out from the centre passenger side but I want it to come out inside the dash so the dash would just fall down so what now
|
Ok I was convinced if I tried to force this out sideways up through the dash I would take a chunk out of the dash or the port but thank god its out cleanly and no sign of debri phew!!
