does anyone know if there are any big Differences made to the rx8 e.g from 03 model to the 04 model

Technically, the 03 is the 04 model. I purchased my 2004 VR in August of 2003. If you meant 04 compared to 05... they dropped Lightning Yellow for Pearl White. The coolant reservoir went from black to clear, and it has a fancy new key. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's it.

 

The 03 model is considered an 04 model with the 03 build date. They're the same. 04 to 05 is just the key and they dropped the Lightning Yellow for the Pearl White and came with a new flip key. That is all.

they also added an option to get SIRIUS Satellite radio or PhatNoise stock!! am i right??? we didn't have that option when i bought my 04 in dec of 2003...

 

the 2005 model has also a gaydar... this is usefull for when you drivin in the city (arround the village) so you dont blink your lights at the "wrong" girl....

 

the 2005 has differnet front brakes. I rotor changed. I think the slave cylinder changed too as the pads are different.

The rotor my be thicker or slightly thicker. Not sure which they did.

Change to stop the warping issue. Pads changed to stop squeeling and to fit the new rotor.
