You have a GT. |
You forgot the auto-dim rear view mirrors on the touring and GT
|
i have navi on my gt too :)
|
Thanks a lot dozer, you have been very helpful
|
One more question I have never been able to go past 123 mph any reasons , it seem to just pull back when I hit 123 and dip to 117 then goes again to 123 and repeats itself, any suggestions
|
no problem ;) ...anymore questions?
|
automatic or MT?
|
Auto
|
govenor, automatics only top out at about 125...MTs have seen ~145 - 150, no govenor
|
That sucks cuz I have tried asking around if there's even a way to buy a modified tranny to make the paddle shitters respond quickly but no avail and now I can't even get it past 123 ughhh
|
should have got a manual then. ive hit 125 in my auto. the shifters respond just as fast if not faster than a manual. the automatic rx8s just have hella lag. which is why im getting an MT as soon as possible.

Mitsubishi Eclipse is a perfect car from an 'automatic+looks' perspective, get one of those - they look really fast.

Are you kidding me? Autos are no where near as responsive. You have no clutch in an auto so you don't get anywhere near the manual feel. Get a manual if you buy this car, I honestly don't see why people buy automatic sports cars anyways. You bought the car for performance right? If you bought it for the looks then I'm going to go jump out a window then, there's plenty of other cars you can buy for looks.

123 is 'Danger to Manifold' territory......

Thanks Sport = Base + DSC, LSD, fog lights, HID headlights. Touring = Sport + sunroof, bose sound system, HomeLink mirror. GT = Touring + heated leather seats, power driver seat, heated side mirrors. If you have an automatic transmission, the Sport upgrade also included the 18" wheels and bigger front rotors/brakes. |
Base = Light
Touring = heavier Grand Touring = heaviest |
were the heated side mirrors an option? I have an 04 AT with heated leather, homelink rearview, power driver's, 18" wheels, sunroof, but no heated mirrors to my knowledge.
I also don't have the nifty silver rotary things on the front and rear. |

I don't think you can get it installed.. unless you do it yourself..
Maybe someone will prove me wrong though |
Usually all the wiring and harnesses are in the car because it's cheaper to manufacture identical wiring harnesses and leave stuff off. Just the ecm and whatever senors would be the cost. I would imagine....
