Dent question
 

So, I'm getting my 8 from my Grandma, but she put a dent on it from hitting a building (Not going fast at all). I was talking to my Dad about getting it taken out, but he mentioned something about like a lining or something that wouldn't make it easy to get out. The dent is maybe a couple of inches above the front turn signals. It's an awkward area to get one of those dent poppers in, so I don't know how well that would work. Do you guys have any suggestions on getting it out? (PS, that's not my car in the picture, that's just the best angle I could find.

Look up your local Dent Wizard. Im pretty sure they are found throughout the US. Those guys do amazing things for cars. Also dont use any dent puller you see on TV. Its worth the $80-$120 to get it done by a professional. If the dent has a crease in it, then those are much harder to get out and a different story altogether.

I wonder if any of these "home dent pullers" work for small dents? If anybody has any experience going this route than I would like to know about it.

i heard a lot of horror stories with these. i wouldn't recommend them. Look for a local dent wizard thats trained on how to fix these. i recommend them due to the fact that i have had 3-4 dings taken out with no problem.

The problem is, I don't have a Dent Wizard near me. There aren't any in Wisconsin, Illinois or Indiana. :(. My Dad said there was something there that a normal body shop wouldn't want to deal with. I don't know if he's right though...

If there is not a dent wizard, I'd be willing to wager that there is another company that specializes in dent removal in your area. Your best bet is to call the best local parts store and ask them, also call some dealerships nearby and ask them if they use a service for dent removal. Id say 90% of cars that get traded in around my area get dent removal before re-sale. Good luck I'm sure you find something. Also autotopia.com i beleive has a forum dedicated to finding services like this.

why was that? is the dent on the plastic bumper or on the metal part on the car?
