Covering holes without painting is hard. Really no easy way.
Question though, can you send me a picture of the trunk? I need to paint part of it, and am wondering if I want to deal with the holes. It will depend on how many.. |

Ok so when i first got my RX8 a while back, i debadged the car, only to find out it would leave holes in the car. Thats dumb.
So my question is, what is the best method to cover those holes? If you don't want to put the time/money/effort into properly filling the holes and repainting your trunk, then the best way to fill the holes is to put the badges back on. |

I have this one. It covers the holes from the center emblem, but I kept the "MAZDA" emblem on the lower left side. To properly de-badge the trunk you'll have to sand down the holes to bare metal, weld them shut, then grind down the welds and even it up with some skim coats of body filler followed by loads of sanding. Then prime and paint over the trunk as normal. |

this is probably the most annoying and most pointless response I ever got on any forum.
Oh, you're a smart-ass? Carry on, then. When, yesterday, you asked a question you should have been able to answer yourself, I made the mistake of assuming you were *special* and didn't know the holes in your trunk from the one in your ass. |
So you want an easy way to cover the holes in your trunk left by badges and don't want to fill them/paint them etc. um... Might I suggest covering them with a sticker? In all seriousness, idk what you're expecting here. I'm guessing magic.
