crazy noises after the hill
 

i recently was going up a hill, this was pretty steep but i have encountered worse, neways the hill went flat out of nowhere and since the hill was not really that steep i went over it at about 3-5 mph. To my surprise there was an excruciating underbody scrapping sound and after i got over onto the flat ground the car was making unusual and loud screeching sounds from the right side of the car regardless of how slow or fast or in which direction i was going.

so i brought it to the dealership at home which was 2 hours away, and by the time i got there the sound apparently went away but i left my car there just to be safe than sorry.

i got a call back from my guy at the dealership, and he told me after putting on the lift and driving it around there was nothign wrong with the car and should come pick it up..

is it just me and bad luck with cars or wat?

can anyone tell me wat the noise i was hearing was, or if anyone else has had a similar experience because although the dealer told me nothing is wrong i am somewhat sketched out as to how it could sound so bad a couple hours prior and then all of a sudden be kosher.

what car do you have?

I heard something like this on my test drive of the 8. Turns out a rock had lodged itself in the left rear brake. Sure made everyone at the dealership notice when I drove on to the lot with their car!

(I bought mine at a different dealership)
