Compression Test
What's a good compression test look like?
I'm going to look at an 04 and I'm going to run a compression test to see if the engine's any good. Also, would the dealership be willing to extend the warranty on the engine since it's an 04? It's a mazda dealership. |

It looks like a 2x3 table with numbers in each box. 1 column per rotor and 3 rows, one per rotor face.

My post was aimed to help you. Search truly is your friend. Getting results on this forum requires at least some input on your part. Anything you can think of asking about the RX-8 has likely been asked in the 8 years this site has been in existence. There are "sticky" threads in the various subforums for a reason, use them.
Had you taken a second to look rather than start a meaningless thread you could have saved yourself time and cool points. Happy rotoring. |

Time is not the issue. We argue about searching because we want people to get good, honest, accurate information. We want people to educate themselves and make informed decisions. Even if someone did answer your question, how would you know the information was correct? You wouldn't, you would still have to search to insure the info you are getting is correct. All compression tests are done at the cranking speed your starter will provide :)
Results are normalized to 250RPM.... |
