If anyone has any ?'s about compression testing your rotary engine or needs help I would be happy to help answer what I can.

I know everyone doesn't have $300 to purchase a tester so I have a couple RCTV5.2 rentals available if you live in the US and have Paypal.

$30 you pay shipping both ways

Brap safe!

I may take you up on the help part.

This is awesome!

Questions
1. How long is the rental period?
2. Where are you shipping from?
3. If I want to buy it can the $30 come off the price!

Thank you for this offer!

Rentals are US and Paypal only.
The one international rental I tried never came back so that ended that.
Most people have them back in a week or so.

I know not all owners have the coin to buy a tester hell we drive rotary's.

Happy to help as long as people continue to return them :ylsuper:

Would it help to do a deposit system? Charge them $300 and then refund $270 of it when you get the tool back in good condition.

Great thinking

Second this.

BigCajun 11-13-2017 08:37 AM

For international rentals only.
I think part of the appeal of the rental is for those who may not have $300 to spare.
It happens.

How does being domestic make someone less likely to forget or flat out nick the tester?
Take a deposit, you'll get your units back quicker and be able to rent out more frequently.

If someone doesn't have $300 to deposit, knowing the engine's compression is probably not going to make a difference in decisions they're about to make.

BigCajun 11-13-2017 11:24 AM

If someone is depending on their 8 as their DD, and it quits running right,, that $300 may go to a rental car until they can use the tester to find out if they lost compression.

I like that RTC is offering this at such a reasonable rate, because even though many of us make a decent living, unexpected expenses can make it hard to come up with $300 in a hurry.

Rotary Compression Tester.Com 12-12-2017 06:07 PM

I don't want to charge people a deposit most are stressed out already.
No more International rentals its a pain with customs and shipping cost both ways anyways.

This is nothing against anyone 60% of my sales leave the US.

I have rental back here if needed HMU

Still available for rental?

mazdaverx7 07-06-2018 05:22 AM

Steve, I think its a great offer on your part to offer the units for rent. Personally, I don't know how I lived without one of these for so long. Its probably my favorite specialty tool in my box.

Mr_Insulin 07-10-2018 11:28 PM

I am also interested in renting one if it's still an option :fingersx:

kenshin81 05-22-2019 11:16 AM

Rented and bought one last year. Just used again before purchase of my R3 last week. Thanks. :worship:
