Coming out of retirement
Been a while since I've been on here and wow have things changed. Now i have a wife and baby. I have not been able to drive my car since blowing the engine back in 2010. Had it rebuilt which was messed up and took it to a different person. Got a little off track trying to finish things up and it sat in storage for a while. I'm going to be checking out my car and discussing what i'd like to do next with the engine builder this Friday. He is saying he can make it a lot better than he could have before. Excited to see what we can do and get back on here with more updates.

Sounds interesting...

Hoping for the best for you. Keep ups updated and how everything pans out!

Welcome back. Once you get it running and go for a drive you'll remember why you bought it. did that last weekend and having stopped grinning like an idiot yet. (Possibly just because I'm an idiot, but I think the 8 made the grin bigger...)

I'm new to rotary...for me the thrill is a unique combination of sounds, g forces and a Zen-like oneness with your ride! Remember how that feels? Welcome back!

whats up bitch!
yea, my motor is in timeout also. :( beers  |
lol @ Swoope. It's been way too long man.
Went and looked at the car and talked to my builder on Friday. It looked way better than what i had expected for how long its been sitting. Biggest issue was the wheels. I had them powdercoated satin black but they were really flat looking. Going to have to pull them and clean them up and see if i can get a little shine back. We are going to pull the engine, once again. It's going to get studded this time. Also switching to a return fuel system. |
